MESTON COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
The Meston College of Education was founded in 1937 by early Missionary Pioneers in Education and is governed by the Meston Education and Development Association (MEDA). The College of Education grew out of Wesley College which was a pioneering Arts College for over seventy years. It is affiliated to the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, recognized by NCTE and aided by the State Government. The College conducts academic programmes leading to Ph.D., M.Phil., M.Ed., and B.Ed., degrees participating in welfare and community activities and organizing educational extension work.

MESTON LIBRARY
Our college library prides itself of having some of the rarest collection of books and theses in Education. Library resources stand, at about 15,000 volumes, which include books in the book bank. The library is a member of UGC N-List for online access for e-journals and e-books. This facility has proven to be very useful to users. Our library collection includes a large section of expensive reference books and a large number of textbook collections, which cater to the needs of the institution. The book collection has been supporting the teaching faculty, research development and other professional activities of the college. Very old dictionaries, out of print books, etc. are kept in a well-preserved condition.

Due to the unforeseen Corona Pandemic, we are rolling out a brand new feature to the library, the Meston Online Resource Library. This initiative is aimed at providing all the resources required for the training and education of our students. The resources posted on this online forum is available to all and is tailor-made by our team of staff.
